Flow control for rock breaker valves

Sun Hydraulics offers several ready-made circuits for flow prioritization, for example for auxiliary functions such as rock crushers and hydraulic breakers on excavators, wheel loaders, and other construction machinery.

These are simple and effective circuits that ensure no power is lost from the main function when an additional cylinder or motor is operated.

Breaker valves and rock crushers

The valve functions as a pressure compensator to ensure that the prioritized flow remains constant even during pressure fluctuations. This provides a continuous flow even to demanding applications such as hydraulic breakers and rock crushers.

Material and design of manifolds for breaker valves and rock crushers

Ready-made solutions are available for line mounting in sizes up to SAE 2” flange.

All manifolds are available in aluminum (3000 psi / 210 bar) or steel (5000 psi / 350 bar) and can be supplied with surface treatment.
