QMEH – Cartridge-style flow sensor

Compact and accurate flow sensor for integration into a sandwich stack, line-mounted housing, or new manifold design projects.

Easily create a closed loop! Together with the XMD-02, the flow sensor provides the controller with the actual flow value, which then regulates the flow control valve according to the set parameters. This setup provides excellent control of the flow in an application and significantly higher accuracy than a traditional compensator valve.

Applications

• Precise motion control – Regulate speed with high accuracy during lifting and feed operations
• Lubrication systems – Ensure that critical functions receive the required lubrication
• Safety functions – Generate a warning if a critical function has no flow

Technical information

The valve converts flow into an electrical signal. Choose between a 0.5–4.5 V signal or 4–20 mA output (must be ordered in the correct version), connector type M12.

• Uses T-16A cavity, with different maximum flow ranges to maintain accuracy (15 L/min, 30 L/min, 140 L/min, 200 L/min).
• Pressure drop at 200 L/min is approximately 7–8 bar, and down to only a few bar at lower flows.
• Measures flow from port 1 to 2. Add a check valve for free return flow.
• CE marked and IP69K rated, 350 bar in all ports.
