The new patented FREP valve combines electrically proportional variable throttling with a compensator in a single unit. This allows for a constant priority flow regardless of variations in load pressure. It is well-suited for situations where maintaining a constant speed of a function is required, independent of load pressure fluctuations.
The valve is ideal as a variable flow control in systems with a fixed-displacement pump.
The FREP valve is direct-acting, normally closed, and pressure-compensated. It can be used either as a 3-way proportional priority valve with bypass or as a 2-way pressure-compensated flow control valve.
Typical applications include sweepers, salt spreaders, conveyors, and similar equipment where speed regulation of, for example, a hydraulic motor is needed.
The FREP valve is currently available in three flow ranges: 0–30 LPM, 0–60 LPM, and 0–88 LPM.
The FREP valve works excellently in combination with SUN’s XMD amplifier.
A wide range of standard manifold is available, including manifolds for direct mounting on hydraulic motors.
