By interpreting the product name, you can understand quite a lot about the product, such as pressure setting, material, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Model Codes Sun Hydraulics Valves<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sun Hydraulics cartridge valves have a model code based on a seven-character code. The first four letters, for example RPGC, indicate the valve model. In this case, a pilot-operated pressure relief valve with a capacity of 200 l\/min. The <strong>third letter<\/strong> indicates the valve size.<\/p>\n<p>RP<strong>C<\/strong>C 45 l\/min<br \/>\nRP<strong>E<\/strong>C 95 l\/min<br \/>\nRP<strong>G<\/strong>C 200 l\/min<br \/>\nRP<strong>I<\/strong>C 380 l\/min<br \/>\nRP<strong>K<\/strong>C 760 l\/min<\/p>\n<p>Each model is then followed by three suffix letters. For example, RPGC-LAN. The <strong>first letter<\/strong> depends on the type of control the valve has. Not all valves have all configurations \u2013 this depends on the valve function.<\/p>\n<p>RPGC-<strong>L<\/strong>** Standard screw<br \/>\nRPGC-<strong>C<\/strong>** Factory-set sealed<br \/>\nRPGC-<strong>K<\/strong>** Knob<br \/>\nRPGC-<strong>O<\/strong>** Panel mount<br \/>\nRPGC-<strong>W<\/strong>** External hex<br \/>\nRPGC-<strong>Y<\/strong>** Wing knob<br \/>\n&#8211;<strong>X<\/strong>** Non-adjustable<br \/>\n&#8211;<strong>M<\/strong>** Manual override<br \/>\n&#8211;<strong>F<\/strong>** External hex<br \/>\n&#8211;<strong>H<\/strong>** Calibrated hand knob<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>second letter<\/strong> indicates the <strong>pressure setting range<\/strong>. Examples below \u2013 many more setting ranges are available, and it can also indicate the spring strength of the valve.<\/p>\n<p>RPGC-*<strong>A<\/strong>* 7\u2013210 bar<br \/>\nRPGC-*<strong>W<\/strong>* 10.5\u2013315 bar<br \/>\nRPGC-*<strong>B<\/strong>* 3.5\u2013105 bar<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>third letter<\/strong> indicates the <strong>O-ring material<\/strong>. Standard is RPGC-**<strong>N<\/strong> Buna, but there is also RPGC-**<strong>E<\/strong> EPDM and RPGC-**<strong>V<\/strong> Viton.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suffixes<\/strong> at the end of the code have the following meanings:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\/AP<\/strong> Stainless steel<br \/>\n<strong>\/LH<\/strong> Zinc Nickel coating<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Model Code Sun Hydraulics Standard Manifold Bodies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sun Hydraulics standard manifold bodies have a model code based on <strong>three letters<\/strong>. These valve bodies are also called <strong>3lt<\/strong> (short for &#8220;3 letter&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suffixes<\/strong> at the end of the code have the following meanings:<\/p>\n<p>\/<strong>M<\/strong> Aluminum<br \/>\n\/<strong>S<\/strong> Steel<br \/>\n\/<strong>T<\/strong> Steel with metric threads<br \/>\n\/<strong>V<\/strong> Viton O-rings<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Model Code and Surface Treatment for Sun Hydraulics Standard Manifold Bodies<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If the manifold bodies are made of <strong>steel<\/strong>, there are different surface treatments available:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\/S<\/strong> In the standard version, the manifold only have <em>dewatering oil<\/em>, i.e. very limited protection during transport and storage.<br \/>\n<strong>\/S3<\/strong> which is <em>trivalent clear zinc with top sealer<\/em>, 96 hour salt spray test.<br \/>\n<strong>\/S1<\/strong> which is <em>Clear Zinc Nickel with Top Sealer<\/em>, 1 000 hour\u00a0 salt spray test.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Model Codes for Sun Hydraulics Solenoid Coils<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Solenoid coil model codes consist of <strong>three digits<\/strong>, followed by <strong>three more digits<\/strong>, and possibly a <strong>letter at the end<\/strong>, for example 740-224D.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>first three digits<\/strong> represent the solenoid coil series:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>740-series<\/strong> is the newest and fits SUN\u2019s <strong>FLeX series<\/strong>, inner diameter is 16 mm. This series also has the option of <strong>high-power<\/strong> or <strong>low-power<\/strong> to match functionality to need.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>770-series<\/strong> is well established and is a round solenoid coil, inner diameter 19 mm.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>760-series<\/strong> is an older series and has a square solenoid coil, inner diameter 14.2 mm.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>first digit<\/strong> after the hyphen indicates the <strong>connector type<\/strong>; for example 740-224D, here ISO\/DIN 43650.<br \/>\n<strong>2<\/strong> = ISO\/DIN 43650<br \/>\n<strong>7<\/strong> = Deutsch DT04-2P<br \/>\n<strong>6<\/strong> = AMP Junior<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>last two digits<\/strong> indicate the <strong>voltage<\/strong>, for example 710-224D, here 24VDC.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>D<\/strong> suffix indicates a <strong>flyback diode<\/strong>. In older models, the diode is included, but for the FLeX series, this must be added.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sun Hydraulics Date Codes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All Sun Hydraulics valves and manifolds come with a date code. The date code is made up of <strong>one number, two letters, and then one number<\/strong>.
